Covid-19 Updates
What you can expect at your next visit to our office…
We recognize that our local community, and the entire world, has experienced unprecedented times over the last few months. While some things have changed, our office’s commitment to the health, safety and well-being of our patients remains a top priority.
Under Governor Lamont’s state mandate and in accordance with national guidelines, since early March our dental practice was temporarily closed for non-urgent dental care. However, our commitment to our patients remained constant during this time, through phone consultations and emergency dental care.
We welcome the recent guidance allowing dental practices to resume normal operations, as this decision aids in our focus on the prevention of dental issues before they arise. During these times and always, our dental practice continues to recommend regular, preventative dental care to our patients. Routine dental care is proven to reduce emergency dental situations.
As always, our infection control procedures ensure that when patients receive dental treatment in our office, it is both safe and comfortable. Our office continues to follow the most current recommendations made by the American Dental Association, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Connecticut Department of Public Health.
Given the current COVID-19 situation, for the protection of our patients and our dental team, you may notice some changes related to your appointment:
Our team will ask all patients certain, required health screening questions prior to each appointment.
Each patient’s temperature will be taken, and screening questions revisited, prior to dental treatment.
Hand sanitizer will be available and we request all patients to apply when entering our dental office.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing and sufficient time allotted for additional disinfecting between patients.
New HEPA-air purification systems added to all treatment rooms
Contactless payment and check-out process.
For now, we no longer offer magazines or children’s toys in our waiting room, since those items are difficult to disinfect.
We value your trust and loyalty, and welcome back all patients to our dental practice. Please contact us if you have any questions prior to your visit. As a reminder, we require at least 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations.
Patient Screening Form
As summarized above, all patients will be asked the following questions prior to their appointment. To expedite your appointment, please complete the following form no more than 24 hours prior to your appointment.
